Approach

Together with Paolo Cossu Architects we refurbished Phaidon Press's new headquarters in Stratford. The Victorian print warehouse was transformed into a modern office while preserving its brick structure. The first floor features an open-plan space with workstations, while the ground floor serves as a public area with a reception and an "internal street" displaying Phaidon's releases. Meeting rooms are furnished with Vitra chairs and Bocci pendant lights. Materials used include Fermacell cladding, ceramic tiling, and glass curtain walling.
