Objective

Habito, a London-based property start-up, required an office expansion that would accommodate their growing team and complement their evolving brand. The objective was to create a flexible working environment that would cater to the diverse working styles of the team.

Approach

We were appointed to implement the designs by Trifle, an interior design studio. We worked closely with Trifle to deliver a full Cat B refurbishment within seven weeks, while ensuring that the Habito team could remain in their office during the renovation process. The project involved the installation of new meeting rooms, private workspaces, lounge areas, a collaboration hub, and an open-plan cafe. Materials that complemented the industrial qualities of the once Victorian wool warehouse were used.

Result

The flexible working environment for the Habito team was completed in just seven weeks, providing lounge areas, a collaboration hub, a cafe, meeting rooms, and private workspaces that catered to diverse working styles. Workbenches were arranged to make the most of the East London view through the large open windows. The project was completed within a closely managed budget, ensuring Trifle's original design intent was preserved while delivering alternative product solutions. The Habito team could continue working in their office throughout the renovation process.
